Nike Air Force One: Upgraded to Conquer

Nike's all conquering shoe line, Air Force 1, is still doing well. Already having served the world for 27 years, the shoe line is going through various upgrades; this sums up the effort and dedication put in by Nike to make the shoes even better sand comfortable for masses.

It's quite funny a thought that those who long for these shoes were mostly unaware when Air Force 1 was born (in 1982). Air Force 1 effectively attaches a medallion to each of its shoe. The medallion reads "82" and can be pushed off the laces if you do not want it there. Designer Bruce Kilgore pioneered the Nike Air Technology with it. The technology uses gas-filled plastic membranes in the sole for providing ultimate cushioning and relief.

The shoe line brings in roughly 1 billion USD for its parent company every year. Nike has suffered assaults from Adidas, Reebok and many world brands but it has survived and excelled. The same can be said about Nike Air Force 1 when we compare the stiff intra line competition.

In fact, the shoe secured Hispanic appeal when it came down to West Indies and Puerto Rico. At many places, it was used as part of New York parade and was mandatory to be worn. Nike Air Force 1 line has been a part of collection as much as it has been a part of wearing. Yes, it is a very smart accessory and people really love wearing it but they also have a mentality to preserve it. This is also because the line might one day become vintage. Having the right pair of shoes is important because as mentioned earlier, different sports involve different movements. The shoes are specially built to cater to these movements. You don't want to be wearing a pair of indoor court shoes to run a marathon. That will do more harm than good.
